Project Highlights
This multi-purpose space serves as the University of New England’s facilities maintenance shop, houses shipping and receiving docks, and has 5,000 square feet of office space. A pre-engineered structure was explored, per the owner’s request, however the difference in cost was less than five percent. OAI built an energy-efficient, steel frame building that is durable enough to last for the next hundred years. The main challenges were working on a wooded site that was predominantly ledge and extending the campus infrastructure an additional half mile.
“You and your team did an exceptional job meeting our needs and went above and beyond to make the most out of the budget we had. Once again you kept your promise and gave us more building than we ever could have had with any other builder or construction manager.”
