Dean Ouellet

Dean Ouellet

Construction runs in the Ouellet family and Dean was destined for this industry from birth. In elementary school he hung around job sites and learned through observation. By high school he was working his way up the ranks of Ouellet Construction. In 1991 he earned a degree in residential construction from Northern Maine Technical College, graduating as class valedictorian.

Dean went straight to work at Ouellet Construction, standing in as general manager for Albert Ouellet, who was semi-retired. In 1995 he joined the OA team. Dean’s communication skills and his capacity to deal with issues as they arise have earned him the respect of coworkers and subcontractors alike.

Dean is gifted with an orderly mind and his jobs run accordingly. His straightforward manner and talent for organization pave the way for a smooth, unified effort, fluid negotiations and uncompromised quality throughout construction.

Dean has become one of Ouellet’s key problem solvers. His ability to make quick feasibility judgments on site and his foresight in planning very often result in projects that come in ahead of schedule and under budget.

In his spare time Dean can be found outdoors, hunting or fishing.
