Bill Dodge had explored an architect-designed dealership expansion, but was subsequently pressed by GM to conform to a corporate look. Working to very basic renderings of the “Oldsmobile Image,” Ouellet stepped in with a design/build solution.

The project comprised a 1,500-foot showroom expansion and new car delivery room, as well as a full exterior facelift and other cosmetic upgrades.

The greatest challenge was performing construction work while the dealership remained fully operational and customer-friendly. Close coordination between the owner, architect, dealership employees and OAI was critical to our success.
